Little Leauge World Sereis – Youth Baseball Anyone?

It’s that time of year.  The Little League World Series is on ESPN and we’re down to 8 teams.  The most recent game was today at 1pm ET with Rhode Island taking out the Netherlands in dramatic style.

It was a crazy game with the Rhode Island team leading 3-2 going into the top of the 6th inning.  After the Netherlands put up 5 runs in the top of the 6th (following 4 consecutive walks to start the inning), the Rhode Island team came back with 5 runs (3 unearned) in the bottom to win it.  The winning run scored on an error – the 5th of the day for the Netherlands.

Check out your local listings as most of the games are on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPN3.
